About Atezolizumab

This medicine comes in the injection form that is injected into the vein over 20 to 30 minutes. Generally, this injection is given once every 2, 3, or 4 weeks depending on the response of treatment. Duration and dose of treatment depend on the age, body weight, overall health, and response to the treatment. Taking more than the prescribed dose will increase the chance of side effects.

Fever, chills, dizziness, shortness of breath, breathing problems, itching, rash, neck or back pain, shaking, flushing, or swelling of lips or face may be visible after taking this medicine. Consult your doctor for further medical advice.

Precautions

• By mistake, if you missed any dose, take it as soon as you remember. But the next dose timing should be more than 8 hours.
• At the beginning of the treatment tell about the medicine that you have allergic to your doctor.

• Women who are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding should consult the doctor before taking this injection.
• This injection may decrease fertility in women during medication.
